The Basics
Until now, chat and Web browsing have been two separate functions on the Web. Chat took place in separate windows that "floated" over the regular browser, or required a separate application altogether.
The Visitor screen of eShare NetAgent, however, is a tight integration of Chat and Web browsing functionalities. A small chat monitor is displayed, allowing direct contact with the Agent while still allowing the Agent to display Web pages on the Visitor's browser. The online Visitor benefits from these Java-enhanced functions, accessible on any existing Web browser without additional downloads or plug-ins.
